Jeff Berkowitz: Try the private schools [School vouchers- school choice]. If people like and it works, maybe the competition will work, just give them a chance—you heard that saying, you said you are a peace candidate—

Jeff Berkowitz: Should people in Chicago be allowed to own a handgun—they can’t now [possess one], you know. It’s a city law.
Ald. Sharon Dixon: I think they should be allowed to have a handgun on their own property.

Jeff Berkowitz: You would tell the Mayor he is wrong on that?

Ald. Sharon Dixon: I am going to say I think as a responsible congressional person I’d like to have the information and the facts before me before making such a decision.
