Can Sauerberg beat Durbin: Cable and Streaming

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: …If you are going to do this [school vouchers] in Chicago, which I don’t think is totally unreasonable, then you need to put a pilot [school voucher] program up in Chicago, and see how it goes. Milwaukee is not Chicago...

Jeff Berkowitz: So, you could see yourself confirming for the Supreme Court a judge who is avowedly pro-Choice?

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: It could happen.

Jeff Berkowitz: Or pro-Life?

Another potential credible candidate to get the Republican Party U. S. Nalepa almost beat former 3rd CD Democrat Cong. Bill Lipinski when Nalepa ran against him in 1994. [Watch Nalepa here].

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: …If you are going to do this [school vouchers] in Chicago, which I don’t think is totally unreasonable, then you need to put a pilot [school voucher] program up in Chicago, and see how it goes. Milwaukee is not Chicago. [Berkowitz had argued that Milwaukee and Cleveland are two examples of cities that had successfully implemented school voucher programs]

Jeff Berkowitz: So, you would favor the federal government perhaps providing some seed money for a pilot program in Chicago for school vouchers-school choice?

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: I have no problem with that.
*****************************************
Jeff Berkowitz: As a senator, you are going to have a choice in confirmation of judges. Would you have a litmus test? Would it matter to you whether the judge [wannabe] wanted to overturn Roe v. Wade or the judge [wannabe] supported Roe v. Wade?

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: I don’t think it is appropriate to have a litmus test on any specific issue.

Jeff Berkowitz: Including that. So, you could see yourself—

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: Including that. That’s just not appropriate. That’s not the way judges should be chosen.

Jeff Berkowitz: So, you could see yourself confirming for the Supreme Court a judge who is avowedly pro-Choice?

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: It could happen.

Jeff Berkowitz: Or pro-Life?

Dr. Steve Sauerberg: Who knows.
