Better than Monday Night Football, 14th CD candidate Laesch on Cable and Streaming

This Friday morning, Former Speaker and current 14th Cong. Dist. Congressman J. Dennis Hastert is expected to announce [10:00 am, Kendall County courthouse] if he will hang them up [at the end of this term]. Whether he does that or not, at least three Democrats are vying for the opportunity to run for the 14th Cong. Dist. seat in Nov. 2008. Tonight's City of Chicago edition of Public Affairs features one of those Democrat candidates, John Laesch, who garnered 40% of the vote against Cong. Hastert in 2006. The show airs throughout the City of Chicago at 8:30 pm, Cable Ch. 21.

Laesch is also featured on tonight's City of Aurora edition of Public Affairs , airing through-out Aurora and in some surrounding areas on Aurora Community Television, Comcast Cable Ch. 10 at 7:30 pm. The Aurora station reaches all of Aurora, Bristol, Big Rock and parts of Oswego, Sandwich, Sugar Grove and Montgomery.

On the Republican side, it is almost certain State Senator Chris Lauzen [R-Aurora] [Read here and Watch here] and Investment fund entrepreneur Jim Oberweis will jump into the 14th CD race if Cong. Hastert announces he is not seeking re-election.
