Tomorrow [Thursday] morning’s “848” program on WBEZ FM Radio (91.5) should not be missed [9:35 am- 10:00 am].

Public Affairs' Jeff Berkowitz, Chicago Public Radio’s political editor Carlos Hernandez-Gomez and Republican Party operative Christine Dudley are scheduled to join show host Steve Edwards to discuss, at least in part, this Saturday’s upcoming meeting and vote by the Republican State Central Committee in Springfield for a new State GOP Chairman.

This should be an entertaining, informative, illuminating, provocative and challenging show for the panelists, host and listeners.
Steve Edwards’ 848 program is heard every weekday on Chicago Public Radio-WBEZ-FM Radio (91.5) at 9:35 am. The program consists of an excellent magazine format that blends politics, public policy, features, culture and other good stuff and it continues until 11:00 am, with a short break at 10:00 for the news. The name of the program comes, I believe, from the address for the WBEZ studio, 848 Grand St. in Chicago at the Navy Pier.
If anybody has thoughts, suggestions, facts, rumors or innuendo regarding the State GOP Chairman race or anything else that might help my preparation for the show, please send me an email at, preferably by sometime tonight. As always as to communications to me in this mode, unless you indicate otherwise, your information or thoughts will not be for attribution. Thanks.
