This week’s [week of Oct. 4] suburban edition of “Public Affairs,” features State Rep. Julie Hamos (D- Evanston, 18th Dist.) and the Republican challenger in the 18th Dist., Julianne Curtis (R- Wilmette) debating and discussing the issues with each other, as moderated by show host and legal recruiter Jeff Berkowitz. Hamos and Curtis discuss various state legislative and public policy issues, including the Affordable Housing, Planning and Appeals Act, real estate tax assessment caps, state taxes on business and jobs, education, jobs, guns, gays, abortion and God, the minimum wage in Illinois and how to promote an environment conducive to job growth in Illinois.
